  • I am giving a brief video presentation for “Market Growth and Strategic Insights: Wine Industry Conference 2024” organized by the Moldova National Wine and Vine Office on April 5.
  • Annual Ontario Craft Wineries Conference, Niagara Falls Convention Centre conference, April 23, 2024. The conference theme is “Roots to Resilience and Success for Ontario’s Wine Industry.”

March 2024

  • I will be at “License to Steal,” the national wine marketing conference, held in association with the Eastern Winery Exposition in Syracuse, NY on March 13-14, 2024. My presentation is “License to Steal: Secrets of the World’s Most Respected Wine Regions.”
  • I am giving a zoom lecture on the state of the wine industry to students in the Wine & Spirits MBA program at the Burgundy School of Business on March 19.

February 2024

  • I’ll be giving a virtual talk on the “State of the Industry” to the meetings of the Idaho Wine Commission on February 12, 2024.

January 2024

  • Unified Wine & Grape Symposium. January  23-25, 2018 , Sacramento California. I will be moderating and speaking at the “State of the Industry” session on January 24.

  • The Unified Wine & Grape Symposium in Sacramento, California is North America’s largest wine industry gathering. This year I will again moderate and speak at the State of the Industry session on January 25, 2017.

  • I’m speaking at the first global wine tourism conference to be organized by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The event is set for September 7-9, 2016 in the Republic of Georgia. Here are links to the preliminary program and registration information.

HI i enjoyed your book i think it would be neat if u would write about how people buy wine just from the label alone.I live in Oregon wine country there is a good wine here named WINE BY JOE i would never buy because it sounds cheap also DUCKPOND reminds me of duck shit.Cute labels remind me of cheap.I often buy my wine because of the color and design of the label.
