Just a quick note to tell you that The Wine Economist has been short-listed for a global blog award. The Gourmand International “Best in the World” awards will be announced on June 8 in Yantai, China.

Mike, I’d love to see my art, made from sunlight as grapes, used as labels.
Can you steer me in the right direction?
Thanks, Joe

Congratulations, Mike! No surprise and very excited for you!
Well done, Mike.
Congratulations and well deserved.
Hi Mike Congratulations for being selected to be considered to be selected. Pretty good company. I am in China this week and using Prats’ comments re Napa Valley from WineVision to help make my case for our region in this market to our importer sales managers. Best regards Bruce

Thanks, Bruce. Great idea to leverage a French idea to promote Napa wine in China! I agree that the argument is sound. Best of luck, Mike
Best if luck Mike! Go USA, USA, USA!
Well-deserved Mike… I know of no one who works harder; and on the broadest range of wine topics as well. Too a great new year…all the best, Allen
